Frequently Asked Questions

Have your physician or nurse practitioner (NP) fill out the SMARTTRelief™ Prescription Form. Send the completed document back to us, and we'll send your cream right to your doorstep.

We can assist you by contacting a prescriber for you to have your prescription completed and/or extended. Simply provide us with your prescriber's contact information and we will get in touch with them on your behalf to have your prescription assessed and completed. 

MediXtracts Compounding Pharmacy is not associated with any specific pain clinics or prescribers. We accept prescriptions from any registered nurse practitioner (NP) or licensed doctor. 

SMARTTRelief™ creams are covered by most private drug plans. Contact us to speak to our pharmacist about your coverage.

There are three ways in which you can renew your prescription: 

1. Contact the prescriber who originally wrote your prescription; or 

2. Contact a different prescriber (e.g., your family doctor, or another physician or nurse practitioner) and have them fill out the SMARTTRelief™ Prescription Form; or

3. Provide us with the contact information of a prescriber of your choice, and we can contact them directly on your behalf. 

Note that if you are out of refills and are experiencing delays in contacting your prescriber, our pharmacist can authorize one final refill on your behalf to help maintain your pain management during the process of obtaining a new prescription.
